| The bullet-riddled bodies of the four farmers were found in Vammiyadikkulam in Vattamadu where they had gone for cultivation as usual in the morning, according to family members. The identity of the killers is unknown. However it is alleged that the some Tamil militants were behind the killing to create fear psychosis among innocent farmers. Following the killings, cultivation works in this area came to a standstill. |
