The PSM is established to facilitate consensus building among Muslim political parties and other stakeholders with a view to develop cohesive response on vital issues affecting the Muslim community.
Ampara Peace secretariat staff and 3members of the MPA land committee conducted a field visit on 14.11.2007 to do a study on the prevailing land issue faced by the Muslims in the above area. A meeting was held with the farmer’s committee members and officials of Pottuvil DS office to find the details regarding this land issue.
